Q. Can I change my email password?
A. Contact us if you need to change your password. Please note that our passwords are automatically generated, so we are unable to give you a specific password.

Q. Why does it take a long time to download email?
A. This is often because there is a large email in your mailbox. Please contact our support team if you would like them to investigate, or use our webmail service to remove it from your mailbox without downloading it.

Q. Can I access my email from anywhere?
A. CI-Net also provides a basic WebMail service allowing you to access your email from anywhere in the world via a web browser. (Please see the following FAQs for more details).

Q. What is WebMail?
A. WebMail gives CI-Net customers access to their email from any web browser, anywhere in the world.

Q. How do I access WebMail?
A. Please visit http://pop.ci-net.com and click on the Go To WebMail link. You will need your POP username and password to log in to your account. WebMail is not accessible by customers with SMTP email.

Q. Is there virus protection on the mail server?
A. We can filter all incoming mail for both viruses and spam, to discuss these options please call us on 01865 856030.  We recommend that you also always use a locally installed virus protection program such as Norton Antivirus or McAfee VirusScan for protection against viruses that are not passed on via email.
