Two factor authentication is defined as something that you have and something that you know e.g. a keyfob to generate a number that changes every 30 seconds and a user ID that you know.
However, one important security breach that allows network hackers easy access to corporate information is known as “user authentication". The randomly generated pass-key is used to identify the specific person in order for them to gain access. Home-workers, travellers and Internet users will all rely on VPN and firewall technology to enter corporate networks gaining access to sensitive resources. The VASCO token provides this secure authentication to enable access to these secure environments.
