Security: StoneGate’s secure connectivity solution comprises a Firewall and an Intrusion Prevention System (IPS). StoneGate IPS defends the network proactively by detecting malicious packets within regular network traffic and blocking them before any damage occurs. Implementing StoneGate IPS expands the defence further within networks enabling comprehensive, multi-dimensional network security. StoneGate Firewall and IPS work together to provide intelligent defence all over the enterprise network.
Resiliency: For critical locations where resiliency is identified as a key requirement then all single points of failure need to be duplicated. For many organisations the firewall is a point of high risk. For such locations CI-Net recommends that customers set up a clustered, load-balanced environment that is an out of the box solution. This ‘Drop in Firewall Clustering Technology’ allows you to drop a cluster into the network environment without reconfiguring existing switches or routers.
