Installation: Installation is incredibly quick compared with the equivalent fibre-based solutions. RedKite on average takes 10 days to install whereas it can take anything up to 65 working days for a wired alternative solution. The reason installation is so quick is because we own the RedKite network, which means we are not reliant on any other supplier to deliver the service.
We manage the entire installation process for you. From ensuring availability of service in your area, carrying out a full site survey, installing, testing, configuring the equipment and ensuring the very best end-to-end connection. We look after implementation so that you can start benefiting from RedKite as quickly as possible.
Installation is carried out by our fully trained and accredited field engineers and is included in the price of the service along with the equipment and its maintenance.

Equipment: To receive RedKite wireless a radio/antenna unit is fitted to the outside of your building, aligned to the RedKite base station. This outdoor unit connects directly to a PC or LAN via a standard Ethernet connection.
