Community Internet sponsors 2006 ISPA Award

Leading Internet Service Provider, Community Internet plc has announced it will be sponsoring the Internet Villain Award at the 2006 ISPAs. The annual UK Industry awards, organised by the Internet Services Providers’ Association, will take place on the 23rd February 2006 in central London.

Community Internet plc, who champion best practice and innovation within the industry, will present the Internet Villain Award, which highlights an individual or organisation whose behaviour has been less than virtuous during the previous year. 2005 saw the European Union pick up the award for its stance on the ‘Country of Origin’ principle and for the Draft Framework Decision on Data Retention.
