CI announce partnership with Riverbed to supply Steelhead™ appliances
Leading Internet service provider Community Internet, CI, has been selected to partner with Riverbed to provide wide area data services technology, enabling companies to meet the demands of a distributed workforce in a globalizing market.
Riverbed’s flagship product, the Steelhead™ appliance, is designed as an easy to use and deploy appliance that accelerates the performance of key applications, improving speed and efficiency for companies requiring optimum bandwidth utilisation. The bandwidth utilisation can be cut from between 60- 95%, eliminating the need for increased bandwidth expenditure. This is the ideal appliance for those organisations with 2 or more office locations requiring an increase in bandwidth. This technology produces faster more reliable business processes increasing the speeds at which applications perform.
