Community Internet sponsors 2007 ISPA award
Community Internet plc (CI) signed up to sponsor the Best Consumer Host Award at the 2007 ISPAs - the 9th Annual UK Internet Industry Awards.
The awards, organised by the Internet Service Providers Association (ISPA UK) and described by The Times as “the awards that could have the most direct bearing on your life”, were presented at a glittering ceremony on February 15th at the Marriot Hotel in London.
As a champion of innovation and best practice, CI were proud to present the Best Consumer Host Award, which recognised an ISP or company offering mass web site hosting to consumers that has demonstrated high availability, and exceptional performance throughout 2006.
Attended by senior decision makers, government representatives and the media, the ISPAs are the premier event for the Internet industry. “We were delighted to once again sponsor a category at the ISPAs,” says CI Managing Director, Graham McLean. “It is a unique opportunity to showcase the best of the Internet industry, to recognise our peers for outstanding performance and customer satisfaction, and to help set the standard of Internet best practice.”
