CI-Net's Marathon Man
Steve Evins completes his Marathon challenge
- Congratulations to CI-Net's Steve Evins who completed the London Marathon in 3 hours 34 minutes - putting him 4149th out of some 38,000 runners!
Steve, whose run will raise over £2000 for Helen & Douglas House Hospice in East Oxford, was very happy with the result. "I was hoping for anything under 4 hours so was ecstatic when I finished in such a quick time! The atmosphere of the day was totally electric and It was probably one of the best experiences of my life. The crowd were amazing; the whole 26 mile route was packed with supporters. It was great to have my friends and family there cheering me on, they definitely kept me going all the way to the end."
