Connectivity overhaul for ALD Automotive
Leasing and fleet management company, ALD Automotive, has improved employee productivity by boosting capacity and business continuity on its connectivity infrastructure, while at the same time reducing networking costs.

The company, which operates 50,000 vehicles in the UK and is part of financial services group, Société Générale, has implemented a new resilient WAN to give 100 office & home based staff more reliable access to essential business applications including its FleetWare fleet management system, Microsoft Office software and Internet telephony.

Looking at MPLS? Take time to look at the bigger picture
Many organisations that want to connect several sites using Wide Area Networks - especially if they use data-hungry applications such as Internet telephony – are convinced they need a Virtual Private Network (VPN) using Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS).

But the truth is that MPLS cannot provide all the answers. At
CI-Net we have worked with many customers to replace their MPLS network with alternative solutions in order to deliver the correct balance of performance, security and resilience. As with any technology it is important for people to look at the ‘bigger picture’ and analyse MPLS’s weaknesses as well as it strengths.

Fun hacking workshops with a serious message
Join us for our fun half-day, hands-on hacking workshop which holds very serious Intrusion Prevention messages.
