From B2B ISP to managed, secure, resilient networks

CI-Net started life as Oxford Community Internet in 1996 and was one a handful of business-focussed ISPs. The company has evolved to become a major player in the provision of fully managed Wide Area Networks and IP services.

Our core competence is the deployment and management of IP infrastructure to support a business’s individual needs. We pride ourselves on the intelligent use of innovative technology and have a solid referenceable track record of customer implementations. In addition we have an enviable reputation for customer service and managed services.

We allocate a lead consultant to do the design and implementation. This same consultant maintains regular contact thereafter for advice on ongoing maintenance and upgrades. In addition we assign a Technical Account Manager based in CI-Net’s own Customer Support Centre that has intimate knowledge of the customer’s infrastructure and acts as an immediate escalation point when necessary.

This hands-on approach enables CI-Net to behave as if we are members of our customers’ IT department. Thus our customers do not have to recruit and retain IT skills to manage their infrastructure and the internal IT resource can focus on systems that are specific to their business.
