Technical Support Engineer

We are currently looking for 2 x Technical Support Engineers to provide telephone support to clients, monitor and prioritise calls logged and ensure customer SLA’s are maintained.

It is essential that you can work well in an enthusiastic team environment, to establish a professional rapport with our clients. A well presented professional with reliable time keeping and attendance, you must also have excellent communication, presentation and practical skills as well as the ability to remain calm in sometimes challenging situations and take ownership of problems.

Essential Skills Required
Must have a working knowledge of:  

  • DSL technologies
  • TCP/IP
  • Firewalls
  • IP routing
  • Microsoft Server and Desktop products
  • At least one year experience in a support environment
  • ADSL
  • VPN/Firewall
  • Stonegate
  • Linux
  • BT e.CO/ and wholesale
  • Cisco
  • Microsoft products

You may need to visit sites occasionally, and will be part of a 24/7/365 support roster, which means that you will be required to do shift work.

Location: Kidlington, Oxfordshire
Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: £18,000-25,000 depending on experience
